Children's Zone at Colours
The Colours of Ostrava festival includes an extensive children's zone - ČEZ Family Park, with a variety of musical and theatrical performances, fun workshops and creative workshops, decorating, painting and a number of play areas with lots of toys and games. The zone is staffed by professional animators and children can be left under their supervision. Parents can go to concerts, theatres or lectures and enjoy the festival atmosphere to the full. Strollers can be moved around the grounds without any problems.
The festival service for families with children includes special headphones to protect the hearing of the smallest children, as well as a nursing tent equipped with toiletries, changing tables, kettles and microwaves.
The Colours of Ostrava Festival also welcomes children and adults with various types of health disabilities. The whole area is adapted for wheelchairs and prams, there is a service and special services for people with visual, hearing and mobility handicaps and a relief service for families with autistic persons.

For families with children, the festival offers a discounted "Family Holiday at Colours" package. The package includes two four-day tickets to the Colours of Ostrava and the Meltingpot International Discussion Forum, two four-day tickets for children up to 15 years of age, accommodation in an equipped large tent for five people in a campsite near the festival grounds, four tickets to the Ostrava Zoo and the Bolt Tower in Dolní Vítkovice, and also includes a seven-day free Ostrava public transport ticket. Tickets for the festival can also be redeemed at various tourist attractions, swimming pools, sports venues, museums and galleries in Ostrava, where you will receive significant discounts on admission fees.
